Exchange Challenge

This is another of the weekly projects I have been doing for Artorder.
This project involved using a character silhouette created by someone else and developing it to completion.
I selected a design created by Dana Henderson. I was drawn to his design because it was easy to see the mass and weight behind his contour line.  I also liked that it had an alternate history quality to it, which is thematically, right up my alley.

Like the last pieces I posted, I worked directly in Photoshop, and I am really happy with the way this turned out.

Now, that's sexy. Really, I love the muted color tone (feels very nostalgic), and subtle feminine quality of the face.
